"The only decent thing was a monkfish soup with lardo and lovely sticky focaccia croutons and a poke of red chilli, but everything else was mimsy and ill-seasoned, from the slightly tangy breaded sardines on burrata (I guess oily fish can tang on a Monday) to the dreary grilled squid on mashed potato."
