L'Anima Cafe

Right next door to the original L'Anima this café is a more casual affair focusing on quick pizza and pasta for those busy city folk and more regional Italian cooking.

"L'Anima Cafe comes across as something designed by a property developer rather than the committed, passionate chef we know Mazzei to be, more a case of "What can we bung in here?" than "What can we do that's really good?"" READ REVIEW

"Francesco Mazzei is a chef well known for his consistent and quality southern Italian cooking. And with prices that don’t require an expense account, plus efficient but friendly service, L’Anima Café will bolster his reputation further." READ REVIEW

"The service is cheerful and made me smile, although it’s difficult to be aloof when one asks for bread and a vast cart is pushed to your table heaving with warm focaccia, nduja bruschetta, grissini, cecina, as well as many others, with sides of aubergine and anchovy dip. Delicious. In fact, the highlight of the dinner." READ REVIEW
