"The house specialities are raclette and fondue and, of the latter, there are two sorts - the traditional Comté and emmental combo or a daily changing special blend (exemplary on our visit) served with charcuterie, cornichons and good bread for scooping up the golden, molten cheese." READ REVIEW

"A cheeseboard comes laden with booty from the boutique: granular comté, pungent reblochon, an ashy goat, all in perfect nick and served with crisp charcoal biscuits and tangy chutney. Cheese overkill? Not in my book." READ REVIEW

"...those who don’t like cheese or don’t fancy it for every course of their meal are limited to one option per course, and as nice as these options are – the Scottish smoked salmon and creme fraiche open sandwich or the duck confit with puy lentils and crispy bacon - Androuet remains foodie heaven for its niche market of cheese lovers alone." Simply Delicious!!!!

Androuet, for me, is the best place to eat in Spitalfield Market. Since this placed opened about a year ago it has simply got better and better. The food is outstanding, the menu of specials is carefully selected and executed with passion and as for their chocolate brownie with hazelnuts.... I am always torn between it and the wonderful selection of seasonal cheeses.

The staff are extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food and wine they serve you. I recently had the veal on special and it was melt in the mouth and came with most wonderful flavoured sauce.

Whether you want a tasty, fresh sandwich, a plate of wonderful cheese or a full meal, it is all available at Androuet.

The stanard of produce used is clearly very high and this place just keeps on getting better and better. I cannot recommend this place enough.

PS - the chocolate fondue is to die for!!
