"Puddings are enormous. ‘Here,’ London House seemed to shout, ‘you had a tiny starter and a main course as big as a child’s hand… now, voilà, have a massive bowl of passion fruit posset with a whole ginger snap rising from it like the London Eye!’ I left discombobulated and full of passion fruit pips. Not terribly good food and such small portions." READ REVIEW

"Together with a pretty reasonable wine list, that makes London House an uncomplicated delight from first mouthful to last. Ramsay's private life, and the lack thereof, have rather coloured his public forays of late; but this is a reminder that he is at base an extraordinarily competent kitchen hand who knows how to build an exquisite restaurant." "Ramsay has an excellent track record of spotting female talent (and I don’t mean the sort that gets him tabloid headlines) and it won’t be long before Haugh Kelly is mentioned in the same breath as Angela Hartnett and Clare Smyth." READ REVIEW

"The main courses are more prosaic: a fillet of sea bass served on slow-cooked fennel with a light bergamot sauce, or a perfectly pink beef fillet with a parsnip purée and potato gnocchi stuffed with braised beef cheek." READ REVIEW

"It’s a real addition to Battersea, such as Battersea is (scrappy). Above all, it’s a safe bet for an evening out. It’s not exciting, being so corporately served, but if you need that reassurance, here it is." READ REVIEW
