Lovely

Wonderful food, fantastic atmosphere, charming service - found us a table although we hadn't booked, then struck the right level of being on hand without constantly niggling. Will make a point of returning often, just loved it. NB you do need to book in the evening.

Awful - completely ruined my birthday

I wouldn't recommend this place for a party. We were told we could only have the fixed menu at £30 per head. But there was probably enough food to feed a third of the party. Really inadequate sharing plates, the main course had to be eaten on tiny plates.  Pudding was a complete joke- a tiny piece of two cakes for about 4 or 5 people to share. To add insult to injury every time we asked the staff for something (eg a glass of water) this received a very surly response. They were just rude.  We were left at 11 o'clock with nothing to drink (we were told the bar had stopped serving, but they will still serving lots of drinks to their friends), so the night came to an abrupt end.  Birthday ruined.  Never again.

It's AMAZING

The 'ballroom' (where the eating takes place) is just stunning. It's like sitting in a movie. And the food is exceptionally cooked, and wonderfully original. You can order a bunch of small plates for the table, which works so well, as everything is super-delish, and there's no chance of missing out. We've dined here a number of times and it just gets better and better. It's still a bit of a secret, but I'm guessing this winter it'll be nigh impossible to get a table.

Shhhhh

You either get this place or not - Its a truly local cafe/ bar / restaurant - difficult to find / difficult to park but worth all the bother - the food, environment & service are to die for - you never quite know what will be on the menu but you know the produce will be good and the results amazing and please - all people from West London stay away - we like it as it is

The setting is great, but the staff leave you feeling cold a disapointed. There are plenty of other nice places to go.
