Jamie Oliver's British pizza joint
Jamie Oliver takes the largest space at the new Central St Giles space behind Centre Point. As the start of a new chain for Jamie, it serves wood-fired flatbreads with a British theme, specifically focusing on local producers. It's a partnership with US chef Chris Bianco, who's best known for the highly regarded Pizzeria Bianco in the US.

"Union Jacks have access to some fantastic local produce that we should be very rightly proud of, but dumping them all on a pizza base and calling it cooking is most definitely not the future." READ REVIEW

"I'm sorry, Jamie. But why not put pizza on at Jamie's Italian, then start a chain of British-themed restaurants with ploughman's and doorstop sandwiches and pies? *Helpful face*" READ REVIEW

"The (flatbread) base was crafted to perfection, crispy on the surface and doughy underneath, with a hint of charcoal where the bread has risen in the wood-fired oven. It’s simple, tasty food – exactly the kind of thing Oliver is famous for creating." READ REVIEW

"The combinations are creative, without straying into 'sashimi with hoi sin sauce' territory. The Gloucester Old Spot pizza included morsels of crackling, quince purée, slivers of raw apple, stinky Stilton and watercress; it worked." READ REVIEW
