Polpo's younger cousin
This teeny sibling to Polpo with just 28 seats has opened its doors in the room above The French House, offering dishes such as Venetian-style soft-shell crab in Parmesan batter and pigeon saltimbocca.

"It's not the subtlest or most delicate cooking in the world. Chilli and garlic prawns were too gloopy for me, and pigeon saltimbocca a bit rough. But... the value is so good, you don't mind." READ REVIEW
"...the food was disappointing, occasionally verging on unpleasant, but the atmosphere is nice, the room buzzed and its heart is in the right place." READ REVIEW

"It is here that I would like to leaven all the gushing praise with a couple of stern rebukes, because an unblemished paean is horribly tiresome to read (try writing one). But I can’t. With only the most pedantic of quibbles, the meal was flawless." READ REVIEW

"There was a bit of unevenness to the cooking but nothing disastrous or that wasn’t made up for by the other good stuff I had. In fact, in certain respects the cooking was better than my last visit to Polpo." READ REVIEW
"The hits include duck-and-porcini meatball; cured pork shoulder and pickled-pepper pizzetta (my favorite); Cotechino and pickled radicchio bruschetta; pea, mint, fennel and ricotta salad; panna cotta, blackberries, biscotti; and lemon and strawberry sgroppino, which is like a smoothie with Prosecco."
