Restaurant/ cafe from the people behind The Providores
Providores owner Peter Gordon has joined Hawksmoor in the Seven Dials area by opening a second restaurant there. This is a co-venture between Gordon and Providores partner Michael McGrath and Gourmet Burger Kitchen co-founders Adam Wills and Brandon Allen.

Evening Standard Reviewed on January 06, 2011 "Peter Gordon has said in defence of fusion food “if it tastes good, it works”. Not enough worked at our dinner and at lunch a few days later — different tapas and one butternut squash and chickpea soup with samphire, orange labneh and caramelised peanuts to share — we struggled to find enthusiasm for anything tried." Cheese & Biscuits Reviewed on December 13, 2010 "Trying to get an overall impression of a place from a shaky soft opening is difficult - and possibly rather unfair - but judging from dishes such as the marrowbone toast and the oysters I would like to think Kopapa could grow into an interesting and characterful restaurant in a location - Covent Garden - hardly blessed with a surplus of such places."
