Ramsay comes to Camden

Gordon Ramsay teams up with Angela Hartnett to launch his first gastropub/boutique hotel on the borders of Camden and Regent's Park. Most reviewers seemed impressed with what Ramsay Holdings had made of the location and locals seem thrilled with the latest opening on their patch.

"Hartnett's food here is very much an extension of her personality. Sure she can do big and solid, but she also has technique by the gallon, which allows her to do serious stuff to ingredients while still retaining their essence." READ REVIEW

"'It's really good for Camden,' I've been told. Is that a compliment? It's certainly glamorous. But the food is better at unassuming Market down the road." READ REVIEW

"While the venue has many positives, the gastronomic logic of having Hartnett open two eateries escapes me, as does the business logic of a hotel in Camden. But as new Ramsay-backed restaurants go, it's the pick of the bunch. Well done, Angela." READ REVIEW

A good addition to the area but I wasn't blown awa

I wanted to love this as it's my kind of food and quite near work. I found the food nice but not amazing, and suspect I just didn't pick the best dishes that day as my colleague loved her meal. The decor was a bit uninspired, too. I would go again, but would perhaps order more adventurously!
