Assiette Anglaise
This restaurant has taken over the space left by Morgan M in Islington. It is an all-day dining restaurant from Head Chef Elton Inglis, formerly of Petrus and Racine. He'll be cooking seasonal dishes based on French brasserie classics.

"This being a French restaurant, the wine is very good and affordable. Which rather sums up the place, and ought to persuade punters that the French do fun, easy cooking as well as the tough stuff." READ REVIEW

"This is a true brasserie in that it serves food all day, from home-made granola for breakfast to foie gras with braised endive for dinner. At lunch, only one other table was occupied. This much skill and enthusiasm deserves queues round the block." READ REVIEW

Have been here for brunch and dinner a number of times, every time the meals are fantastic. The coffee is very good, great wine list, attentive and friendly staff, and all reasonably priced.
