Former private club opens its doors to all...
If where you eat is just as important as what you eat, you won't go wrong at The Milroy. This former member's club (formerly Les Ambassadeurs) features a 64 cover restaurant which retains many original features including Murano glass chandeliers and a decorative Georgian ceiling. Front of house is taken care of by Ludovic Bargibant who was previously manager at Rhodes 24 while Head Chef Simon Foster, was previously at La Tante Claire and Claridges and promises a menu of European Classics.

"My companion insists that the true test of a restaurant’s worth is its crab, and – having been recently let down by a well-known fish restaurant – she was delighted with the Portland king crab with lemon mayonnaise, mango and avocado salad." READ REVIEW
"It's a mighty steamship this place, serenely continuing on its course. And the food? The food is, of its kind, perfect." READ REVIEW

"The Milroy restaurant is a hoot. Jellyfish-like Murano glass chandeliers drip from the ceiling and if it stands still long enough to be swagged, draped or lavishly upholstered, it has been." READ REVIEW

"I was pleased with my calves liver, bacon and mash, another club favourite but here done rather well with the liver thinly sliced but still pink in the centre and with excellent smoky charring on the outside." READ REVIEW
