Joel Antunes restaurant at the Embassy Mayfair
Joel Antunes has gotten raves for his cooking at Brasserie Joel over in the Park Plaza in Waterloo, but the critics weren't as kind about the location. Now he's opened the ground floor restaurant in Simon Fuller's new club Embassy Mayfair, which also features a large terrace. Expect a "Provençal-based menu".
"Let's be clear. I had a nice meal – in places a very nice one. The space is light and bright. You could mislay an afternoon at Embassy ...Kitchen Joël Antunès at Embassy only becomes a great restaurant if money is no object. Right now, that's not a good thing." READ REVIEW
"Anyway, it was a bummer. But the place is really very lovely and will get lovelier as the weather improves. The cooking is mostly great." READ REVIEW

"A meal with so few redeeming features is a rarity – an experience you should be able to dine out on for years to come, embellishing the details with every telling. Antunès even falls short on this count." READ REVIEW

"...this restaurant epitomises decadent yet accessible French dining. From the well defined flavours to the friendly waiters, cruise ship chic rarely tasted this good." READ REVIEW
