Gastropub in Victoria Park
This Victoria Park gastropub owes its existence to Andrew Maillard, formerly of London's premier cocktail bar Alphabet Bar.

Food wasn't bad, but the service, though friendly, was ridiculously slow. Granted we went both times on a hot and sunny weekend around teatime. But still. Garden is great for kids, nice mix of people.
Friendly staff, good range of food, nicely presented and pretty damn tasty, all served outside on a sunny day in their extensive garden extending into Victoria Park. What's not to like?
