Every week we round up all the new London restaurant reviews from the top UK critics and add them to our reviews section. This week there's a new review for Viajante, where Marina O'Loughlin gives it the top score, Fay Maschler is less impressed with newly opened Redhook, while Trullo and the Milroy get more praise...
Viajante - overall score 7.5/10 (up 0.5)
Marina O'Loughlin - Metro
What did she think? Worth the wait and an important addition to the London restaurant scene. Choice quote: " Presentation is painstaking, exquisite, as are specially made plates, especially a vast, rounded pebbly item balancing raw scallops with pickled cucumber: it appears to be made of sparkling ice." Trullo - overall score 7.5/10 (no change)

What did they think? Simple Italian dishes done well, for an excellent price. Choice quote: "They've set the tone for mood and for menu with a strongly seasonal, daily-changing menu that's in the River Café vein - only much cheaper. Trullo's excellent value for the standard of its dishes." Read review

Zoe Strimpel - City AM
What did she think? An amazing room with food to match. Choice quote: "My companion insists that the true test of a restaurant’s worth is its crab, and – having been recently let down by a well-known fish restaurant – she was delighted with the Portland king crab with lemon mayonnaise, mango and avocado salad." Allan Jenkins - Observer Estimated score
What did he think? An uneven meal, although with some real stars amongst the duds. Not as exciting as the Corrigan days. Choice quote: "The meat course sees a reversal of fortunes. "Every other course is just mean," my companion smiles as my saddle of Welsh lamb is un-domed, exposing four miniature fingers of meat. " Read review
Chris Pople - Cheese & Biscuits
What did he think? A relatively consistent tasting menu with particularly good risotto, but let down by a stuffy room. Choice quote: "While not groundbreaking in style or content, there's no doubt that Gauthier is a worthy addition to the motley collection of bars and restaurants of Soho, and it would be very mean to dismiss the food there based just on the rather staid and uncomfortable atmosphere in its upstairs dining room." Caravan - overall score 7/10 (up 0.5)
Richard Vines - Bloomberg
What did he think? A menu that successfully takes chances mixes with boisterous company. Choice quote: "The chef, New Zealander Miles Kirby, formerly headed the kitchen at the Providores and Tapa and knows his fusion fare. If there’s a cheerful irreverence about mixing and matching cuisines, there’s seriousness about flavor." Read review

Dishoom - overall score 7/10 (new entry)
Chris Pople - Cheese & Biscuits
What did he think? Extremely fast and over-attentive service, but very good quality and value for Covent Garden. Choice quote: "The food wasn't the best thing about my meal, but it's honest, interesting and fresh enough to stand out amongst most of the dross in the area, and is well worth the very reasonable prices they charge." Redhook - overall score 6/10 (new entry)
Fay Maschler - Evening Standard
What did she think? The service needs some work, the steak was good, but the fish was badly cooked and sent back - and the menu is uninspiring. Choice quote: "An injection of the spirit of Cheers or Friends is needed because the menu is fundamentally straightforward or, to use a slightly more technical term, dull." Read review
Tacita Vero - View London
What did she think? A good example of Surf n' Turf in London. Choice quote: "In the over-abundance of offers, surf and turf... comes to your rescue combining the best of both worlds, excellent quality Scottish skirt steak and freshwater Somerset crayfish is one of three options." Read review

John Walsh - Independent
What did he think? A stylish brasserie, with classic French brasserie food done well - but for a hefty price. Choice quote: "Café Luc has bags of style and its chef David Collard has a rare eye for beautiful display as well as flavour." Read review

What did she think? Improvement is needed on the signature banh mi, but it's affordable with good service. Choice quote: "Bánh mì is the main seller. Although the café now offers traditional Vietnamese-style bread made with a proportion of rice flour, ours was simply too soft and pallid." Read review
