Every week we round up all the new London restaurant reviews from the top UK critics and add them to our reviews section. This week Koffmann's gets more review but the reviewers aren't impressed with the decor, Marina O'Loughlin slates Tom's Terrace, Jay Rayner finds another affordable Italian to love and Jamie's Italian gets some love from Fay Maschler...
Zucca - overall score 8/10 (no change)
Jay Rayner - Observer
What did he think? Another excellent affordable Italian - slightly more "grown-up" than Trullo. Choice quote: "Zucca feels like Trullo's grown-up brother – it's what the latter would have looked like if they'd had fat investors wanting a piece of the action." Read review

Ganapati - overall score 8/10 (no change)
Bob Granleese - Guardian
What did he think? A surprising South Indian gem tucked away in Peckham. Choice quote: "...I couldn't help myself coming over all like that woman on the Marks & Spencer TV ads: "This isn't just a paratha. This is a Ganapati paratha…" Jesus, it was good. So much so that we promptly ordered two more." Read review

Zoe Strimpel - City AM
What did she think? Excellent food that manages to she despite the drab surroundings. Choice quote: "The food that we ate was, in the main, luscious, rich and delightfully flavoured." Read review

Dishoom - overall score 7/10 (down 0.5)
Fay Maschler - Evening Standard
What did she think? Friendly staff with good Indian food that arrives quickly - sometimes too quickly. Choice quote: "A couple of visits impressed with the freshness and immediacy of the cooking and the willingness of the staff..." Read review
Richard Vines - Bloomberg
What did he think? A good stab at a Bombay Cafe, would recommend going for small dishes and a couple of grills. Choice quote: "The menu is less than the sum of its parts. But the parts are good, including kulfi frozen desserts on a stick and Gola Ice, which is shaved ice served in a tumbler with fruity syrup." Read review

Charmaine Mok - Time Out
What did she think? While still graced with Koffmann's excellent cooking, the new venture needs more of the style and welcome of the Restaurant on the Roof. Choice quote: "...our first impressions of this new place is that it could do with more of his previous project's welcoming style." Read review
AA Gill - Sunday Times
What did he think? Again, not impressed by the room which does not complement the excellent food. Choice quote: ".Here we have tablecloths, but the menu says retro cafe. What comes on the plate is far more accomplished." Read review

Fay Maschler - Evening Standard Estimated score
What did she think? Long queues - handily jumped with a business card - for a restaurant that shows mid-priced chains how it should be done. Choice quote: "I don’t believe it is just the name and fame of Jamie Oliver that packs them in. The dishes perhaps described too possessively and exuberantly — in that way that parents sometimes try to coax children to eat — are simply true to their essence; fresh, seemingly healthy and fairly priced." Redhook - overall score 6/10 (up 1)
Euan Ferguson - Time Out
What did he think? Steak cooked well to order, but not cheap. Choice quote: "Some early reports (during the first weeks after opening) suggested the food needed a bit of work. After our visit, though, we're pleased to say that things seem to be running a lot more smoothly." Read review

Café Luc - overall score 5.5/10 (down 0.5)
Nick Curtis - Evening Standard
What did he think? Unadventurous food, small portions for high prices and amateurish service. Choice quote: "No exciting new flavours, just good ingredients efficiently and unchallengingly prepared." Read review

Fay Maschler - Evening Standard
What did she think? Good service could not rescue this meal. Choice quote: "After picking at tiger prawn flautas — I thought that was the effect of re-fried beans — my companion said “I’m not going to hold this against you”." Read review

Zoe Williams - Telegraph
What did she think? A dull beige interior and a mel which started well, but went downhill... Choice quote: "They’re not like people, restaurants; just because they haven’t offended you doesn’t mean you have to like them." Read review

Marina O'Loughlin - Metro
What did she think? A great location let down by an unadventurous menu and sky-high prices. Choice quote: ""This could easily be one of the hottest tables in town. Instead, banal food and greedy prices just add up to bathos."" Read review
