What: Sushi Atelier

In a nutshell: Contemporary sushi spot

Summing it all up: The folk behind Chisou have opened a modern sushi bar in Fitzrovia serving up carpaccios, sushi rolls and contemporary nigiri.

The low-down

The folk behind Chisou who have two restaurants in Mayfair and Knightsbridge have just expanded. They've opened Sushi Atelier on Great Portland Street - a contemporary sushi restaurant where clearly the best place to sit will be up at the long sushi counter watchcing the chefs at work. Larger parties can also book tables.

It looks like they're taking a pretty modern approach to sushi with dishes ranging from shime Saba nigiri with chilli lime oroshi (pictured) to BBQ tuna with Parmesan and Tofu salad with tofu cream and house dressing.

The opening kicks off with three weeks of soft launch offers - 50% off food for week commencing 24th July, 30% off food (week commencing 31st August) and finally 20% off food (week commencing 7th August).
