Pulia to launch its first London Italian deli on Stoney Street

Pulia to launch its first London Italian deli in Borought Market

An Italian deli, which already has sites in Milan, Venice, Torino and Florence has chosen Stoney Street near to Borough Market as the area for its next opening, its first outside Italy.

As the name suggests, it will specialise in produce from Puglia in the south of Italy. Dishes to expect are focaccia, panzerotti, pizza rustica, different types of parmigiana, burrata and mozzarella cheeses, salads, dried pastas, olive oils and wine, along with natural organic smoothies and specialist coffees. They'll also have rustici (puff party delicacies), crocche di patate (potatoes with a variety of fillings) and pasticciotto (custard pie).

And there's a dining area that seats 30, if you want to eat their wares inside the deli.

Pulia opens in February 2015 at Stoney Street, London, SE1. For more information, follow them on Twitter @Puliauk
