Pizzicotto and Action Against Hunger launch The Gourmet Pizza Challenge

pizzicotto

If you love pizza as much as us, the chance to try the creations of some of London's top chefs and raise money for a great cause sounds like a no-brainer. For a month, pizzas created by a group of chefs will be on offer at West London pizzeria Pizzicotto. The chef whose pizza sells the most will be crowned the winner of the Gourmet Pizza Challenge, and their pizza will become a permanent addition to the Pizzicotto menu.

Chefs taking part are:

  • Jun Tanaka - The Ninth
  • Pascal Aussignac - Club Gascon
  • Robin Gill - The Manor, The Dairy, Paradise Garage and Counter Culture
  • Vivek Singh - The Cinnamon Club
  • Anna Hansen - The Modern Pantry
  • Steve Groves - Roux at Parliament Square
  • Adam Handling - The Frog E1

Money raised by the challenge will go to Action Against Hunger, helping to save the lives of malnourished children and ensure families can access clean water, food, training and healthcare.

Gourmet Pizza Challenge launches on 30 October 2016 at Pizzicotto at 267 Kensington High St, London W8 6NA with a one-off dinner when for £40 you can try slices from all the pizzas along with a cocktail, starter and a dessert. To reserve your place call James Chiavarini at Pizzicotto on 020 7602 6777. Alternatively visit the restaurant throughout November when all seven pizzas will be on sale.
