Over Under Coffee opens second site in Soho’s Ham Yard Village

Over Under Coffee opens second site in Soho’s Ham Yard Village

What: Over Under Coffee

In a nutshell: Friendly, top notch coffee

Summing it all up: Promising “consistently excellent cup, visit after visit,” Over Under Coffee is a friendly, community-focused venture, with a menu heavy on local produce, including coffee beans sourced from Brixton’s Assembly.

The low-down

Ham Yard Village, Soho’s bustling boutique area, is set to get a new community-driven coffee shop.

Working together with Brixton’s Assembly Coffee, Over Under Coffee will be focusing on providing friendly service, local produce and above all, “consistently excellent cup, visit after visit.” It’ll be their second site after their flagship branch over in Earl’s Court.

On the menu, it’s all British food, made with produce from the local suppliers, so smoked meat and fish comes in from the Upton Smokery in the Cotswolds, while bread will be sourced from Seven Seeded.

In their Earl’s Court branch, we’ve seen dishes like smoked chicken sandwiches, kale and butternut squash salad and chorizo toast with aioli, plus breakfast bowls like coconut yoghurt or teff porridge, so expect similar in Soho.

(Plus, for all the Irish expats reading, we couldn’t fail to mention that - yes! - they serve Barry’s tea! Which is fine news indeed, as long as you can swallow paying £1.90 for a taste of home...)
