London's best new dishes from Instagram, August

We've teamed up with Instagrammer Felicity Spector to help us round up some of the best dishes shared on Instagram that are hitting London''s tables right now...

From charity events to hot new openings - it certainly hasn't been a quiet summer on the London restaurant scene. Although everyone wants to stay busy during the holiday season - so please keep on going out and support your favourite places! To whet your appetite, here are some of our favourite dishes we've spotted on Instagram.

Some new openings are already making a splash. Like Marcella in Deptford, from the folk behind Peckham's highly acclaimed Artusi. Their fried artichokes are already becoming a signature dish - as you can see in this fine photograph from @foodstories.

Over in Fulham, Rigo has brought some impressive looking French/Italian fine dining. @samphireandsalsify had this sea urchin with bagna cauda, which looks incredible!

Sea urchin, bagna caòda and fermented milk....in Parsons Green believe it or not 😂 @rigo_london 👌🏻

With an impressive array of Michelin stars, Gordon Ramsey alumni Clare Smyth has finally opened her own place, Core. @gourmet_guy had this beautiful looking crab royale which comes with a steamed crab doughnut on the side.

It was the last day for the wonderful Tata Eatery in their Dalston residency. @elyse_li had this beautiful Octopus Tamaki. We are sure that Zijun and Ana will go on to do plenty more great things, and we can't wait.

Last month the fabulous team behind @cookforsyria held a Bake Sale in Columbia road, raising thousands of pounds. @jennifer.earle took this wonderful shot of the impressive salted caramel brownie by Edd Kimber, who sold out in record time.

And I've had so many impressive dishes it was hard to choose just one - but I really loved this buckwheat buttermilk pancake for brunch at The Manor, which came with roasted apricots and honey cultured cream. Even better, for those of us who work many weekends - they do brunch during the week. Way to spend a Friday morning!
