Little Bird Gin are having a Bankside pop-up this summer

On the eternal quest for London’s best gin and tonic? Try Bankside this summer. Boutique distillers Little Bird Gin are joining forces with The Distillery bar at the Hilton Bankside hotel to create The Little Garden, a whimsical al fresco gin pop-up.

You might have tasted a Little Bird Gin cocktail at their regular spot at Maltby Street Market, but for those who haven’t had the pleasure - they create London Dry gin in small batches, using botanicals such as grapefruit and orange. The cocktail menu at The Little Garden is a joint effort from mixologists at Little Bird and The Distillery. Along with their take on classics such as a G&T and a Negroni, they’ll be serving an exclusive new cocktail, A Little Bird Told Me, a twist on the prohibition cocktail the Last Word.

Of course, no evening of cocktails is complete without some decadent nibbles. Luckily Paul Bates, executive chef at The Distillery has created a gin-infused tasting menu - dishes include Miss Ginger's Gin and tiger milk tuna ceviche and Negroni marinated tiger prawns.

The al fresco Little Garden will be open at Hilton London Bankside, 2-8 Great Suffolk Street, London SE1 0UG, from July until early September 2016. Follow @littlebirdgin and @distillerybar on Twitter for more news on The Little Garden.
