Joe Public Pizza takes up residency in a Clapham ex loo

Joe Public Pizza takes up residency in a Clapham ex loo

There’s a new pizza place heading to Clapham, setting up shop on a reclaimed London Victorian lavatory space, just as WC did a year or so ago.

This pizza joint is all about pizza by the slice, coming from 20” pizzas (which you can also have whole, if you’re REALLY hungry). They’re planning regularly changing seasonal toppings including fresh fig, gorgonzola, prosciutto, pine nuts, roasted lamb, purple potato, feta and black olives. AND they’ll be open in the morning with baked bacon or sausage and egg butties and coffee from Caravan Roasters.

It’ll be primarily a grab and go space with just 14 diner style seats by a counter top. They’ll have 25 more seats on a terrace and .If you’re really in a rush (it's VERY near the tube), there will be a quick-serve hatch on the common too.

Joe Public opens on 19 March 2016 at Former Public Convenience, The Pavement, Clapham Common, London, SW4 7AA.They're also giving away 500 free pizzas on 26 March as an opening offer. They’ll be open Mon-Fri 6.30am – Midnight, Sat/ Sun - 9am – Midnight For more, follow them on Twitter @JOEPUBLICSW4
