Farringdon is getting a new Iberica next week and this one will feature something slightly different to the other branches - a larger bar complete with cocktail list and bar menu. Hot Dinners got a sneak preview at the cocktail and bar menu and it looks pretty good to us.
The cocktails are part of a new range that's being launched across the group. On the 13-strong list which ranges from £8 to £10 are The Clerkenwell (bourbon, licor café & angostura bitters) a Manzano Martini (Vodka, apple liqueur, apple juice, sugar, lime & bitters) and Cantabric Martini (Gin Mare, Cantabric anchovy, dry vermouth and juniper berries) as well as the slightly dodgily-named Happy Ending (Amaretto, midori, cream & cinnamon).
The bar food menu will be exclusive to Farringdon. In addition to trying selections of Iberico hams you can choose from a range of pinchos and tapas which include an Ensaladilla Rusa with tuna, egg, green olives & Piquillo peppers for £2 and baby squid pinchos with alioli for £2.50 as well as cod fritters for a fiver. Platters of cured meats and cheese complete the selection.
