Fitzrovia continues to be an interesting place to eat out with yet another new opening unveiled for Wells Street. Taking over the space that used to be Monty's Wine Bar will be the second venue for street food turned bricks and mortar pizzeria Homeslice.
The central London space will have room for 70 pizza scoffers and an outdoors area to eat alfresco. There'll be an underground cocktail bar and a dedicated takeaway space. "While the Wells Street space offers the scope to develop our offering, we will remain true to our original aim," says co-owner Ry Jessop. And that is "to serve up the pizza we want to eat and create a neighbourhood pizzeria.”
