Holborn’s Sano To Go has healthy takeaway breakfasts and lunches

Sano to go

What: Sano To Go

In a nutshell: Health-focused breakfast and lunches to take away in Holborn.

Summing it all up: Sano is new contender on the scene for those who’re fed up with the same old supermarket salads, with lots of takeaway options that use big flavours from the Middle East, Asia and more.

The low-down

Trying to keep your lunch healthy AND interesting when you eat al desko on the regular is no small feat. That’s not to say we don’t love Pret as much as the next person, but when you’ve had the falafel salad for the fourth time this month, it starts to lose a little bit of its allure.

Enter Sano, a new healthy takeaway joint on Grays Inn road with a whole heap of breakfast and lunches for the health conscious to rejoice over. There’ll be ginger and five spice chicken, za’atar spiced lamb meatballs, and aubergine and butternut squash tagine, which with all its big flavours, sounds very much on the right side of health food. There’ll also be ample salads, raw chocolate brownies and millionaire's shortbread with coconut flour and almond butter.

If you’re looking to pick up something on your way into the office, there’ll be several pots to choose from, which do increasingly seem to be the preferred vehicle of choice for distributing breakfast foods these days. Yoghurt Pots and Porridge Pots are fairly self explanatory, plus there’ll also be Egg Pots which come with your choice of avo, smoked salmon, tomato or tahini.
