ramsaycurryTake an extra long lunch break tomorrow (Friday 4th February) and head down to Brick Lane where Gordon Ramsay will be volunteering his services at a pop-up curry stall in aid of Red Nose Day 2011.

Ramsay, who's releasing a range of Comic Relief’s Seriously Good Indian sauces for this year's appeal, will be on the stall at Ely's Yard, Brick Lane E1 between 1pm and 2pm on Friday. The stall itself will be open serving curries between 12pm and 3pm.

'Brits love a good curry,' says Ramsay, 'and now it’s easier than ever to enjoy our favourite dish at home while also giving something back.'

The sauces in question include Royal Korma, Butter Chicken, Spicy Red Curry and Aromatic Masala. They start at £1.89 with at least 10p from every jar sold going to Comic Relief. For more information go to www.seriouslygood.com

Dissapointment, we turned up at one and not much was happening. It looked like they were running late and missed the lunchtime rush. We never saw Mr. Ramsey and never got a curry, gutted.
