It's been quickly dubbed the season of stealth openings, as another top secret restaurant launches in London.  This time, it's the people behind Cipriani who have launched a new offshoot.  Dubbed Downtown Mayfair by Cipriani (avoiding the use of "Cipriani London" that led to a legal dispute last year), the new restaurant is in New Burlington Place and opened this week.

Little is known about the new venue, located just off Regent Street, with only a single blog review garnering further information.  From that, we know that it's on two storeys, it has a private room and a sushi bar and the menu is similar to the original Cipriani.  And that - at the moment it's easier to get into (but for some, that may be missing the point).

We'll be keeping an eye out for new info and will add it as soon we find some.
