Brew open their HQ in Putney with alfresco breakfast, pizzas and a lot of coffee

brew-mainThe Brew chain (Wandsworth, Battersea and Wimbledon) is expanding with a huge new HQ in Richmond. Here's what you need to know about it.

What you need to know about Brew Putney

The site on Lower Richmond Road has all manner of fun things planned: alfresco beds, BBQ evenings, cocktails and an Antipodean influenced menu.

There'll be alfresco breakfast in bed: book their Bedouin inspired beds for Bollinger Champagne and a waiter to serve you your personalised “breakfast in bed” menu. Think Turkish Eggs, poached and served with hung yoghurt and hot chilli butter or Brindisa chorizo scrambled eggs on Brew’s sourdough toast (baked in their wood-fired oven).

All manner of pizzas will be on offer - wood-fired pizzas will be made in their handmade clay oven built in London (which is also going to be used to bake bread, pide and pizza for all the Brews) and the menu will also feature breakfast and dessert pizzas.

Like meat? You're in the right place. The new Brew will have a Butcher’s Shop with dry aging fridge for every conceivable kind of steak cut. Fancy a 500g New York cut sirloin, marble score 5-6, dry aged for 42 days, grilled on the BBQ. Then it's yours.

As with any Aussie place, care has been taken over the coffee: it's all from their partners Allpress, freshly roasted in Shoreditch daily and a dedicated patisserie will be making homemade pastries and cakes every day.

Brew Putney opens officially on 24 November 2014 at 162-164 Lower Richmond road Putney SW15 1LY. Tel 020 8789 8287. Opening times are 7am – 11pm, Monday – Sunday. Keep up with their news on Twitter @brew_cafe
