Update 22/1/14. Reservation lines are now open and Gordon's still a popular man as we hear that there were 1300 covers (seats) booked in the first five hours. Valentine's was apparently completely booked out in an hour but there are still spaces on other days.

Chefs gather at The Connaught for Helene Darroze's Galette des Rois party

The Connaught hotel last night played host to pretty much the greatest gathering of foodies in one place since the OFM Awards. The bar was crammed with chefs and restaurateurs all there to celebrate the Galette Des Rois with the hotel's chef Helene Darroze.

Bones rotisserie restaurant opens on Kingsland Road

We were all buzzing earlier this week about new Kensington opening Dirty Bones. However another skeletally-monikered restaurant has also flung open its doors this week. Opening VERY under the radar this week in Hoxton is new rotisserie spot Bones on Kingsland Road. A quick squizz at their menu shows however, that they're way more than just a chicken joint.

It's been opened by the people who run Th…
