69 Colebrooke Row's Tony Conigliaro opens a coffee and aperitivo bar in Soho

Bar TerminiTony Conigliaro has had big success with the Zetter Townhouse and The Bar With No Name at 69 Colebrooke Row and here at Hot Dinners we're huge fans of his Twinkles (note - not a euphemism).

Now he's moving right into the centre of town with an aperitivo bar in Soho, Bar Termini.

What you need to know about Bar Termini

It's a joint venture between Tony Conigliaro and Marco Arrigo. While Conigliaro will be in charge of the cocktails, Arrigo (founder of the "University of Coffee" in Islington) is in charge of the daytime coffee. Starting at 7.30 they'll have a choice selection six Italian coffees alongside a selection of pastries.

And the booze starts flowing at 11am. From then, expect a collection of cocktails designed to "celebrate the Italian aperitif". They'll be offering bespoke House Negronis, each at £6.50 - the Classic, Rose, Vintage and Superior. Alongside those there will be a small selection of seasonal changing house cocktails including the Spritz Termini (gin, rhubarb cordial, apero and Prosecco) and the Marsala Martini (gin, marsala dolce, dry vermouth and almond bitters). There's also a small selection of wine, prosecco and beer.

And of course - being aperitivo, there's some Italian small plates to go with the cocktails. The're promising mini paninis for £1 and carpaccio as well as Italian hams and cheeses, served from 11am until late. The pomodoro tomato tartare sounds like a winner to us. The full menu (and drinks menu can be seen in the gallery below).

It's small - so you might want to arrive early for a table. There's space for 30 covers, plus some more standing space at the bar and the design "pays homage to the bar’s railway inspiration".

Where is it? 7 Old Compton Street, Soho, London, W1D 5JE

And when does it open? It's open for drinks in the evening now and should be open for coffee next week.
