London's best new private dining rooms


More new restaurants opening up means more new private dining spaces have come to London too. We've picked some of the most interesting new spaces to open in the past year worthy of any party planner's notice.

What: This contemporary Nordic restaurant hails from New York and has brought with it two new private rooms. There's a set Nordic menu on offer.

How many does it fit? The Copenhagen room seats 14 and The Stockholm room seats up to 60.

What: The east London outpost of Blanchette - which mixes the French small plates theme with a North African influence - has the Cote d’Azur room tucked away at the back.

What: The west London restaurant by Tom Sellers features an impressively decked out room called The Bloom Room (that pic above should make it clear why). It also has an impressive view over the restaurant below.

What: Jason Atherton's Clerkenwell restaurant has a small room inside that has a Kappo-style Japanese tasting menu. While it's not strictly a private dining room, you can hire out the entire thing.

Aulis at Fera

Claridge's - Brook St, London W1K 4HR

What: Simon Rogan's Fera features the chef's second development kitchen (his first was at L'Enclume). Tucked at the side of the kitchen, it features dishes before you'll see them in the main restaurant. You can book an individual seat or hire the whole thing.

What: Philip's Howard's Chelsea restaurant has the chef in the kitchen cooking up ambitious cooking in a casual setting. The private dining room has a slightly smaller set menu and can also be used for last minute lunches if it's not booked up.

Minimum spend? A minimum spend will apply to any group reservation after 5pm, and will vary on certain days of the week. There's a 25% deposit.
