Osh is bringing central Asian food and cocktails to Beauchamp Place

osh beauchamp place

What: Osh

In a nutshell: Central Asian Knightsbridge hotspot

Summing it all up: Taking over three floors of a townhouse on Beauchamp Place, Osh will mix in traditional Uzbek food with more international dishes and there'll be a top floor cocktail lounge too

The low-down

We have to say it's been too long since we last wrote about plov. Not since Samarkand opened on Charlotte Street in fact. But here we are again, discussing the ultimate Uzbek comfort food.

Aromatic lamb plov, it turns out, is just one of the dishes on offer at Osh, a new central Asian restaurant is opening in London, this time further west on Beauchamp Place.

Taking over the site where Nozumi used to be, Osh will serve up Central Asian cuisine - so think a bit of Middle East and a bit of Eastern Europe too. In practice that means you'll find plov and traditional Uzbek lagman soup alongside Tashkent salads and chicken and tomato shashlik kebabs.

There'll be action over three floors of this Knightsbridge townhouse - a restaurant and bar and, on the top floor, a private cocktail lounge.
